Rental inventory & dry hire

Hire equipment – select, add to cart, send a non-binding request

Put your equipment together as in a shop: choose a product, select a set or quantity, add it to your cart. Instead of placing an order you send a non-binding rental request – we check availability and get back to you with a personal quote.

PA systems, DJ equipment, lighting and stage – for hire in Cologne, the Rhine-Erft district and across North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). Items for sale: see Sales (German).

BeatSystem hires out event technology on a dry-hire basis from its warehouse in Bergheim (Rhine-Erft district, near Cologne): loudspeakers by Seeburg Acoustic Line, wireless microphones by Sennheiser, battery-powered LED lighting by Astera, moving lights by JB Lighting, TV and LED screens, staging by Duratruss as well as effects technology. Request instead of order – no contract is concluded on the website. Used equipment, new equipment as a direct-sales dealer and custom gobos are available on request.

Our rental catalogue is maintained in German. Product names are international; feel free to send your list in English via therequest form.

Frequently asked questions

Hiring from BeatSystem – in brief

How does a rental request work?

Just like an online shop: browse the products, choose a set or quantity and add them to your cart. From the cart you then send a non-binding rental request – we check availability and conditions and get back to you with a personal quote. Sending the request creates neither a booking nor a rental contract.

What does dry hire mean?

Dry hire means you rent the equipment only – without technicians, without set-up. You collect the equipment ready for use from our warehouse in Bergheim (or we deliver) and return it after the event. Ideal if you are a professional yourself or are just missing a single device.

Do you also rent to other event technology companies?

Absolutely. If a fellow company is short of a wireless microphone set, additional loudspeakers or battery-powered lighting at short notice: call, collect, done. Our inventory is well maintained, tested to DGUV regulation 3 (German electrical safety standard) and ready for use – just as you would expect from a colleague.

What does rental cost?

We quote daily rates in a personal offer – fair and without corporate mark-up, because we run a lean operation. Send a short request and you will receive a clear answer promptly.

Can I also buy from you?

Yes. We sell inspected used equipment from our own stock, and supply new equipment as a direct-sales dealer – Seeburg Acoustic Line, Highlite International, Steinigke, ADJ and Sennheiser microphones – on request, with personal advice instead of an anonymous web shop. Custom gobos (also for other makes of projector) and special solutions from our 3D printer are part of this as well.
