Stage & show lighting

Moving lights by JB Lighting for stage programmes, galas and carnival sessions – run live by a lighting technician or as a pre-programmed show.

Ambient & architectural

Wireless battery-powered fixtures by Astera set the scene for halls, façades, gardens and trees – no cable clutter, radio-controlled, in any colour.

Christmas market lighting

Atmospheric, weatherproof lighting for Christmas markets, winter villages and Advent events – from planning and installation to dismantling after the season.

Lighting that looks good – and is operated safely

Whether you want to hire lighting equipment, book lighting for a corporate event or rent fixtures for a club festival: with us, lighting never simply "comes out of the box". We look at the room or site, plan positions and colours, and set up so that cable runs are safe and escape routes stay clear.

Outdoors in particular – at town festivals, Christmas markets and on company premises – safety counts as much as impact: all equipment is tested by our owner René Braun, a certified master electrician, and his test team in accordance with DGUV regulation 3 (German electrical safety standard) – from a single source, not outsourced.

BeatSystem provides lighting equipment for hire from its warehouse in Bergheim (Rhein-Erft district): moving lights by JB Lighting, wireless battery-powered LED fixtures by Astera, ambient and outdoor lighting including Christmas market lighting – with planning, installation and operation in Cologne, the Rhein-Erft district and throughout North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).

Frequently asked questions

Lighting hire – the short answers

How much does lighting hire cost?

That depends on the area, duration and effort involved – a lit function room is a different matter from an entire Christmas market. You receive a personal quote with a fair fixed price: premium equipment by Astera and JB Lighting without corporate mark-up.

Is lighting possible without a mains connection, e.g. outdoors?

Yes. Astera battery-powered fixtures run wirelessly for a whole evening, are weatherproof and are controlled by radio – ideal for gardens, façades, trees and places without a power socket.

Do you also handle Christmas market lighting?

Yes, from individual stalls to the entire square: atmospheric, weatherproof lighting for Christmas markets and winter events – planned, installed, operated and dismantled again after the season. All equipment is tested by a certified master electrician in accordance with DGUV regulation 3 (German electrical safety standard).

Who operates the lighting during the event?

Whatever you prefer: for ambient lighting we pre-programme scenes that run without an operator. For stage programmes we provide a lighting technician who runs the show live.
